An hour and a half after I placed my order and still no pizza. Called 20 minutes ago to see where it is and they said that we were next in line, whatever that means. Wish I had read the other reviews before we ordered.

Food is always excellent and the service is completely reliable

The pizza and the garlic knots are sooo great from here. The service is good, the delivery is fast.

Great pizza and excellent sauce!

The pizza is good but the delivery is TERRIBLE. Over an hour and a half ago we ordered and it's still not here. We've called twice and was told it was "seconds away". There's plenty of good pizza places around the area that doesn't take an eternity, order from there instead.

Best pizza I've had in a long while. This is definitely our new "go-to" place for pizza in Astoria!

The food is fine, if they could get the order correct. I have ordered from here 3 or 4 times now and each time they have gotten my order wrong. I gave them chances, but I'm done ordering from them. If you like to actually receive what you order, you should not order from Michaelangelo's.

the garlic knots are serious for $2. and the thin crust pizza is excellent. Love ordering from here.

Their thin crust pizza is delicious when it finally arrives lukewarm/cold. Delivery times are an underestimate. Avoid the undercooked wings.

Pizza is mediocre at best, not worth the price.

Very prompt delivery. Pizza was meh.

I'd like to be able to rate their food - but It's currently an hour and a half beyond the time I placed my order and it hasn't arrived yet. At the 1 hour mark, I called to ask where it was and they said it was ready but they were waiting on their delivery guy. Promised 5 more minutes. It's now another 30 min. That means that my pizza has since been sitting out for a minimum of 30 minutes and is not even at my door yet. Ridiculous. Don't think I'll be ordering from here again.
Update: just before the 2 hour mark, pizza arrived. Cold, as expected.

Awesome as always! I've always gone to Michael & Angelos for years, for the pizza (usually small/thin crust, so I don't overstuff myself) and mozz sticks. I've only recently started to use Seamless to get my pizza from them (I normally walk all the way down), but have ordered via Seamless numerous times since then and haven't had any problems at all.

The food is amazing! I ordered many times and I thought it's time to leave a review... I ordered a lot of pizza, entrees and appetizers, and I still have to find something I didn't like. Most important, they are consistent, the pizza I ordered a year ago (used to order over the phone), tastes the same nowadays. Anyway, the delivery takes 30-45 min., 60 when it's really busy, but it's worth the wait!

They used to make their thin pizza irresistible. Recently it's been mediocre at best. Long time patron turned into disappointed ex customer.

They have the best traditional NY style pizzas in the area. The Grandma's pie is incredible.
Posted 2 years ago by Edgar C.
best pizza I have had in nyc. and the garlic knot are good too, I ordered from a different place by accident and could not eat it is was so bad. So $60 later I got the pizza I was wanting, worth it.

I placed my order an hour and fourty minutes ago. I've called the pizzeria twice and have received a combination of excuses and assurances. Really? I don't care how good the food is this wait is inexcusable.

An hour and half after I ordered and still waiting. I called after an hour and I was told it was on the way. This better be some amazing pizza.
Posted 3 years ago by Robert G.
Took forever. Forgot part of the order then have us gruff for it!
Posted 3 years ago by Daniel O.
the food was quite good, too bad it took TWO hours to get there!
Posted 3 years ago by alison w.
Hour and a half for a delivery. Called at the hour mark and was assured in two minutes it would deliver. 25 minutes later apparently it would still take 2 minutes. "New delivery guy" is not an excuse.
Posted 3 years ago by Kevin P.
Worst pizza ever. It was so rubbery, I had to toss the whole pie.
Posted 3 years ago by Mac k.
Consistently great food. Pizza and salad were both delicious.

We really liked it! Ordered on a weeknight around 7, and thin crust pizza came in 1/2 hour or so, a bit quicker than estimate. The thin crust stayed very crispy, something not all places can do with delivery! And I like the kind of gyro-sliced sausage thing they do on top. Nice change of pace and tasty, just as an enhancer, but not something that weighs the pie down and overwhelms. Cannoli was very good, too. Will definitely order again!

i was torn about whether to give them 3 or 4 stars. overall, not stellar but i would order again, seemed like a solid 3.5.
i'm all about the best sauce and the best cheese, but what's their worth if what they're placed on is soggy and tasteless? not so here, as soon as i pulled my slice out the bag, i knew i would end up satisfied. it was crisp, meaty and mildly tasteful, a bit more flavor needed. but the fact that you could fold without the flop while still maintaining soft bite, was great. it wasn't the cheesiest, so if that's what does it for you, you may want to ask for more, same for the sauce. the odd thing, it was sopping wet in oil, bag, plate all drenched from this one slice. i had pepperoni on top so i'll surmise it was from that.
the eggplant hero, has maybe a teaspoon of muzzi on it, odd and even less sauce. but i asked them to toast the roll, which they did. well, actually, i don't know if they normally toast it.
food arrived in the hour promised. pizza was warm, hero was on fire.

Pizza here is fine unfortunately I won't be able to order from here anymore as the customer service is atrocious. They got the toppings on the pizza wrong, and when I called to get it corrected, the owner told me that I was wrong. I was looking at the pizza and the receipt, and it was clear that it was not the pizza I ordered, but he told me I was mistaken and wouldn't correct it for me. He was trying to convince me that mushrooms were sausage. Like I don't know what a mushroom looks like. The pizza is not good enough to compensate for the service you will get. Don't go here.

I just got a cold pizza from this place. No one would pay $27 for a cold greasy pizza. I won't order here anymore.

Food was great, my GF and I ordered a Sofia Loren pizza and the Gnocchi, along with the Mozz. Caprese... We ordered on New Years' Day at 6:30 and was told 40-55 mins. No problem, standard waiting time. After an hour and 15 mins, I called the restaurant to see if the food was on its way. I was told "I'm working on it" by whoever answered, and no other info was available. After 2 HOURS, the food arrived (hot and fresh, but we were starving) and I despite calling several times, no one picked up. I get it, it's a holiday, but after being given a wrong delivery estimate, I got a rude staff member and a dismissive kiss-off. So, to sum up: Food gets 4 out of 5, service gets a 1. At your own risk...

This is my favorite place on Seamless, and I order from them all the time. I'm addicted to their Chicken Parmesan - their marinara sauce is the absolute best around. The thin crust pizza is amazing, too. Delivery isn't necessarily quick, but it's generally within the window they give you, and the food is always hot when it arrives. I've never had any problems. Whenever I have anyone visiting, I order from Michael Angelo's and my guests are always impressed. Simply wonderful.

Pizza was mainly grease, little flavor, weak flavor. Lots of toppings, too much honestly since they weren't really all that flavorful and dominated any chance at flavor for the sauce, which I can't even remember how it tasted. Rizzo's or Basil Brick Oven Pizza are both so far ahead of this pizza in every possible way. This place is like a Domino's.

It took 2 hours for the food to be delivered, even though the email confirmation said it would take 40-55 minutes. I even called after 1 hour and they said the food was on the way, which it wasn't.

Pizza was fine, but not amazing. Ratings for this place seem too high to me.

Honestly great pizza. Best I've found in astoria. I get the plain old cheese pie and it rules everytime. Note: if you order hot peppers they put A LOT on, so I get them on the side. Also love the phone service and the delivery people, very nice and efficient!

Great food all around. Best pizza in Astoria.
Posted 4 years ago by Mary F.
worst delivery ever! They try to do delivery entire Astoria with a bicycle. Stay away if you are more than couple of avenue away. Especially when it's chilly outside, what you get is a joke instead a pizza!

This is the best pizza in Astoria. Hands down.

There was hair on one of the slices of pizza we ordered. I am not going to order from them again.

A friend and I got delivery from here last night and it was amazing. The portions are so big that we were able to share and the mozzarella sticks we ordered were still crunchy when we got them. The cesaer dressing was so authentic you could taste the anchovies in it (not great for me, but great for people who love real italian). Oh, and most importantly delivery was fast, i highly recommend this place.

Have ordered numerous times and always good. Thin crust pizza was excellent and crispy and the caesar salad authentic (a little strong on the anchovy). Also the delivery time was very fast. Will order again
--Grandma pie could be the best in the nabe.

A little pricey, and sometimes they forget things (like a topping on a pizza or a side of sauce which is kind of annoying when I'm charged for it anyways) but the food is very tasty and worth it. The chicken roll from here is the best chicken roll I've ever had. But just beware it can be a bit on the salty side sometimes so have lots of water around to drink while you eat.

The Pizza here is unbelievably delicious.

Pizza was delicious. The only hard part was disposing of the gigantic cardboard box it came in.
Posted 5 years ago by Devon G.
I paid $3 extra for pepperoni on a large pizza and only got an average of two pepperonis per slice. WTF?! I will not be ordering from them ever again. :(
Posted 5 years ago by Nicholas H.
Wow! This food is AMAZING and FRESH! I ordered the Sophia Loren thin crust pie which is highly favored and it did not disappoint. The marinara sauce with my mozzarella sticks was so fresh and authentic. And finally the Tiramisu was very fresh and tasted homemade. Oh….and let me add that my food was delivered in under 30 minutes.

DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!! These idiots can't deliver a hot or something resembling a warm pizza on a somewhat cool night. They have no cars, and I believe they leave the pizza box open as they deliver it on their bikes. FAIL.
Posted 5 years ago by Kyle C.
Amazing. By far the best Italian in Astoria, if not the best I've ever had without spending 5x as much.
Posted 5 years ago by Robert W.
Ordered 3 slices and a meatball parm hero on a Tuesday night. Took 1 hour for the food to arrive. It was cold but I ate it anyways. Re-heat one slice and it was decent. The meat ball parm was luke warm because of the tin foil and the taste was not bad. Overall very mediocre experience. Don't know if Ill order again just because of the wait time.
